Elizabeth Braddock, also known as Psylocke, is a mutant.
Psylocke is an Asian mutant telepath. It's hinted that Quicksilver previously had rescued her from an anti-mutant prison and now wants her to return the favor after reminding her of who's side she's on as he saw her helping a poor family from the policeman with her mental powers. Pietro wants Psylocke to block Nitro's powers. The X-Men were able to stop them and Psylocke was defeated by Emma Frost.
Psylocke is loyal to Quicksilver since he helped her escape from MRD custody in the past. Psylocke also doesn't like authority figures as she first appeared semi-altruistically using her mental powers on a policewoman who was citing a mother with her two kids a parking ticket.
Psylocke is of Asian descent and speaks with an English accent. She has a medium tan, high cheekbones, blue eyes, long straight dark hair with a Violet hue. Her outfit appears to be a sky blue long cocktail dress with red lining, purple thigh high boots, and matching arm warmers that reach her shoulders. Her civilian attire is a light tunic top with a brown belt that has a gold buckle around her waist, a maroon denim skirt and brown boots. Her accessories are a gold rectangular pendant, white bracelets and red nail polish.
Telepathy: She possesses mental powers to affect and manipulate the minds of other sentient beings. Psylocke can read minds and communicate mentally with others over long distances. When she telepathically communicates with another person over a distance, that person often perceives her presence as a butterfly-like image bearing large eyes on its wings.
Mind Control: Capable of controlling the minds of others. Very like Vertigo.
Psionic Blasts: Can project psionic force bolts which have no physical effects, but which can affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain, unconsciousness, or even death.
Dilate Power: Ability to place “psychic inhibitors” in the minds of mutant adversaries to prevent them from using their powers.
Mental Detection: She can sense the presence of another superhuman mutant within a small but as yet undefined radius of himself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.
Telekinesis: Ability to psionically manipulate and control the physical aspects of reality. She can also move and levitate other people. While she can move objects from a distance and fly as other telekinetics do, she has shown little inclination to do either in combat situations. She can also create telekinetic shields of various sizes and strength. Her telekinesis is also much stronger now than it was before. Psylocke at first seemed to find that using her telekinesis in forceful ways was easier than in delicate ways (i.e. shattering a brick wall proving more easy than levitating a pencil across a room). However, over time she displayed further control over fine matter.
